Sabantuy 2023: a bright family holiday for everyone
The Tatar folk holiday Sabantuy, dedicated to the end of the spring season, traditionally copes on a grand scale. In all cities of Russia, large-scale festivals are held at the end of June or beginning of July, full of sincere laughter, positive emotions, with free admission for everyone. At the same time, nationality is completely unimportant - Sabantuy is visited with pleasure by whole families, groups, all the peoples of our vast country, foreign tourists.
Mass festivities are a great occasion to have fun, participate in competitions, meet interesting people. And for manufacturers of goods, companies, Sabantuy provides an opportunity to advertise their products, attract new customers, partners. After all, only in Moscow last year the number of participants and guests exceeded 250,000 people.
In 2022, dance ensembles "Tatarstan", "Bulgars", "Ildan" performed in Kolomenskoye Park. The guests were entertained by ethnic groups, the finalist of the Voice 7 project Valieva Rushana, and the famous DJ Fayzullin. The contestants were given valuable and memorable prizes. In Kazan, the guests of the holiday enthusiastically pulled the rope, ran in bags and fought on pillows. The winners were awarded original prizes - rams, ATVs. Also in the program of the holiday were equestrian competitions, concerts and a lottery. The holiday ended with fireworks.

In 2023, in Moscow, the holiday will traditionally be held on the territory of the Kolomenskoye Museum-Park. What surprises can be expected:
• As in previous years, themed villages are being built on the territory of the Park. The Tatar zone is represented by a national hut with colorful interior decoration and a photo zone. In the Bashkir yurt, you can sit at a real dostarkhan, drink fragrant tea with sweets. Also, guests can expect scenes from the life of the Bashkirs and Tatars - the production of the national Bashkir cheese kaymak, cakes from flour, which was ground with stone millstones.
• Several venues for performances by artists will be equipped. Popular performers, national song and dance groups from the capital, Tatarstan, Bashkiria are expected. Since the venues are spaced across the territory, the performers do not interfere with each other. And each guest can find a performance to taste.
• At the persistent request of active Tatar youth, athletes, a regatta on yawls under sail will be held on the Moscow River.
• This year the guests of honor of the holiday will be heroes, participants of the NWO.
• The final of the World Cup in national belt wrestling koresh will be held. Wrestlers perform in suits with bright, colored sashes. The goal of the competition is to put the opponent on his back, using specific techniques. Ancient Tatar warriors entertained themselves with such a struggle.
• Developers will present a new computer game "Batyr" to young guests and gamers. This is a new adventure isometric game based on the Turkic epic and legends. The main character is Batyr - a warrior endowed with amazing strength and incredible superpowers.
• As usual, guests can taste fragrant, delicious dishes of Tatar and Bashkir cuisines, national festive dishes of other peoples of the world - kystybyi, chak-chak, homemade lamb, horse meat, beef sausages, shish kebabs, oriental pilaf, cakes and lavash, sweet pastries, peremyach pies, stuffed lamb.
• High-ranking guests are also expected - the mayor of Moscow, representatives of the Government, famous artists, athletes, public figures.
• Also, guests will find a lot of competitions, a rich entertainment program, competitions in strength, dexterity, intelligence, master classes for children and adults.
• It will be possible to buy souvenirs, embroidered gizmos, Tatar skullcaps, handmade dolls in the shops.
